Recap of Domestic Violence Awareness Month at Cusick School District

By June 20, 2019 No Comments

During the month of October, the Kalispel Tribe Victim Assistance Services Program and the Cusick School District worked together in bringing awareness of domestic violence to Cusick School District students. Informational booths were set up, and goodies to build awareness were given out to students. During the games against Columbia on October 13th, the football team wore purple socks, and the volleyball team wore purple fandanas and ribbons. Students enthusiastically competed in a contest to see who could wear the most purple, and the winners were: 1st place: Amaryllis Chantry ($50 Visa Card), 2nd place: Bailey Applegate ($25 Visa Card) and 3rd place: Dennis Campbell ($25 Visa Card).
